The theme of this provincial symposium relates to the challenges of quickly evaluating a patient’s
CVD risk in the everyday practice of health care providers and to influence risk reduction.

This Heart Niagara conference features presentations on current evidence about the origins of
cardiovascular disease (CVD), adolescent cardiovascular risk factor onset, early CVD risk
detection, and secondary prevention risk detection.
