The LiveIT! program is an opportunity for children ages 5-11 to get active, build movement skills and try various sports activities. LiveIT! aims to improve children’s fundamental movement skills like running, jumping, throwing, catching, and others required to thrive in sports.

In November 2015, Heart Niagara received an RBC Learn to Play Project grant.  The purpose of this grant was to help community based organizations build and deliver quality sport and recreation programs, such as the LiveIT! program.

“As a non-profit we are excited to collaborate on this project and help Niagara children and youth develop the confidence and skills to enable them to play,” said Heart Niagara’s executive director, Karen Stearne.
