July 3rd is National Compliment Your Mirror Day. It’s a day to reflect on your beauty, inside and out. If you have ever asked yourself, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all?” It goes without saying that YOU are!
You’re probably wondering what National Compliment Your Mirror Day has to do with HeartCORE? Several studies have indicated the precious link between self-esteem and goal achievement. Whether your goal is to lose weight, increase strength, or to become more mobile – the respect we have for ourselves ties in closely to the belief of achieving our goals.
Take some time today (and every day!) to smile at your reflection and think positive thoughts about you. You are brilliant. You are beautiful. You are kind. You are unique. YOU ARE AMAZING.
About Cheryl Hamilton:
Cheryl comes to Heart Niagara with over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. She has been the lead instructor in numerous group fitness classes including step, boot camp, and Zumba®. Additionally, Cheryl has experience in personal training and nutritional coaching. Not only is she HeartCORE’s program manager, but Cheryl is also a certified CPR and first aid instructor. She resides in Niagara Falls with her husband, twin teenaged sons, and has a grown daughter.
What is HeartCORE?
HeartCORE, a Heart Niagara initiative, is a comprehensive approach to physical activity and health. Utilizing multiple training modalities such as one-on-one training, group training, workshops and health assessments, to improve the health and wellness of each individual we see.
The main goals of the HeartCORE program:
- Improve and maintain muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance
- Provide a safe, non-intimidating, comfortable environment to exercise
- Improve the health and well-being of each individual:
- By making desirable lifestyle choices
- Feeling healthy and strong
