The golf committee is pleased to host our 21st Annual HEARTS IN MOTION Golf Tournament at Bridgewater Country Club, Fort Erie.
The Hearts In Motion Golf Tournament gives you the opportunity to increase your community profile to the corporate and medical community. We are pleased
to host the 21st annual tournament at the Bridgewater Country Club in Fort Erie on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018.
The tournament includes green fees, golf cart, use of the men’s and women’s locker room, shower facilities, use of the driving range and range balls. Heart Niagara’s signature continental breakfast
starts at 9:45am. Each participant will receive the tournament swag.
All dollars raised through your participation and corporate sponsorship are invested in Niagara’s youth though the Healthy Heart Schools’ Program – A Niagara
Specific Solution. The Healthy Heart Schools’ Program as part of the Grade 9 health and physical education program is concerned with physical activity,
healthy eating, and tobacco use.
The enhanced program in Niagara addresses how knowledge of these factors relates to making informed decisions regarding
healthy growth and development. The awareness and assessment procedures that are involved in the Healthy Heart Schools’ Program may identify those students
whose family history indicates potential genetic risks for future coronary heart disease and who should increase positive lifestyle choices.
The program may also demonstrate to those children who do have a suggestion of genetic risk, that as a precaution their parents should also consider making positive
and healthy lifestyle changes.
Your investment will support the program costs for up to 4,500 students in 27 Niagara secondary schools. The dollars raised through participation and
corporate sponsorship will be donated to Heart Niagara and specifically invested in the Healthy Heart Schools’ Program, which focuses on over 4,300 grade nine
students in the Niagara Region.
