Heart Niagara to Host Queen Street with a Splash of Red Event

Niagara Falls, Ontario - February 15, 2017: This year marks Heart Niagara's 40th anniversary of delivering community-based health services, public education and health promotion to Niagara's 12 municipalities. In 2016, the registered non-profit charity saw over 20,000 people in Niagara through the Healthy Heart Schools' Program, community preparedness, diagnostic services, smoke cessation, corporate wellness initiatives and HeartCORE. Heart Niagara to Provide Free Training in Celebration of CPR Month

Niagara Falls - November 2, 2016: For 39 years, it's been Heart Niagara's mission to provide children and adults with the education, training and tools necessary to take control of their heart health. This November, in recognition of CPR Month, the non-profit organization is offering two free community CPR training sessions. As many as 40,000 cardiac arrests occur in Canada each year, and up to 85 per cent of these happen in public areas or homes. Opera Tasting Event to Raise Funds For Heart Niagara

Niagara Falls - August 31, 2016: For nearly 40 years, Heart Niagara has been committed to delivering community-based health services, public education and health promotion. On July 5th, 2016, Heart Niagara relocated to 4635B Queen Street in Niagara Falls. The new 6,661 sq ft. space has allowed for increased services and improved access to programming in Niagara. The non-profit organization's growth has generated program development and moving expenses, which are estimated at $60,000.
