Paving the Path to Wellness: A Community Workshop Series

Wellness is often defined as the optimal state of health among individuals or groups. While optimal health and wellness is the goal, it is not always easily achieved. In striving for wellness, you must take a positive approach to living. The Paving the Path to Wellness workshop series will introduce you to various topics, each focusing on a different methods you can use maintain and improve your personal wellness!
Managing Stress with Mindful MeditationStress is something that everyone has to manage at one point or another, however, too much stress over a long period of time can be detrimental to our health. Practicing mindfulness has been proven to help cope with long-term stressors and resulting health issues. This presentation will outline the negative effects stress has on the body and give you the tools you need to begin practicing mindfulness. |
